"Hands down the BEST bifana in Porto (and I have eaten A LOT of bifanas in Porto)! We have eaten here at least a dozen times and I always have to get the bifana. This time the hubs got the rojão no pão (pork belly that has been marinated and slow cooked for hours). It was absolutely delicious! It’s served on a roll with queijo da Serra. We also got the prego no pão con queijo. Omg soooo good, soooo tender!! Now I have no idea how I will choose what to get the next time we come. The people working here are super friendly and nice. Definitely a hidden gem in Porto!! (Also, please note that the place is being run by new people so older reviews are irrelevant)."

"Without doubt, these are the places to go... The unassuming, casual places that serve up absolutely delicious food at very reasonable prices. I was told to try bifanas and this place came up high on review so I called in. Wasn't disappointed at all. Amazing flavour packed into the bifana... I could have eaten two! Great staff also!"

"The best place to eat in Porto. The owners were spectacular, giving us plate after plate of delicious Portuguese cuisine. Each plate is only ~3 euro each, so great value too. A must for any meal!"

"We had the best Bifanas in Porto - the pork belly was juicy, tasty and yet not too oil or fatty. The Tripas A Mode Do Port was delicious. A jolly local explained the history of the Tripas; i.e. the local sacrificed the good part of the meat for the seafarers and kept the tripes fir themselves - sort of national service. A double espresso capped off the meal well."

"If you go here, you HAVE TO get the há rojão no pão with sheep’s cheese. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had in my life. The bifana was good too, but the former was the star of the show! The amount of flavor in that sandwich is incredible. Additionally, they pour a heavy glass of wine, the music is great, and the owner was very friendly and gave us great recommendations! Definitely worth a visit!"
